How we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Paidia tournament bot and this website.
Last updated: June 21, 2026
1. Who we are
Paidia Gaming ("Paidia," "we," "us") operates the Paidia tournament bot for Discord and the public tournament website at paidiagaming.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when organizers and players use the bot and when anyone visits the website.
2. Information we collect
Discord information. When you interact with the bot, we receive information from Discord, including your Discord user ID, username and display name, avatar, the server (guild) ID and name, and your roles in that server.
- Tournament data you provide: gamer tag / in-game name, team membership, check-in status, reported and confirmed match scores, and final placements.
- Organizer-provided content: tournament title, description, rules, schedule, banner image, and configuration set by the tournament organizer.
- Technical data: basic, standard web-server logs (such as IP address and browser type) generated when you visit the website.
3. How we use information
We use the information to:
- Run tournaments — registration, roles, check-in, brackets, and scoring;
- Publish public tournament pages with rosters, brackets, and results on the website;
- Provide bot help and support, including the in-bot AI assistant;
- Operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
4. Public visibility
Tournaments run with the bot are designed to be shown publicly. Information such as tournament name, rosters, gamer tags, check-in status, brackets, scores, and placements may appear on a public tournament page. Tournaments set to non-discoverable are unlisted (not shown in site listings) but remain accessible to anyone with the direct link. Do not enter information into the bot that you do not want displayed publicly.
5. Service providers
We share information with vendors that help us run the service, only as needed to provide it:
- Discord — the platform the bot runs on (subject to Discord's own Privacy Policy);
- Supabase — database and storage hosting for tournament data and assets;
- Vercel — hosting for this website;
- OpenAI — powers the bot's help assistant when you use it;
- Discord (payments) — Paidia Bot Pro subscriptions and Tournament Token purchases are processed and billed through Discord's own payment system; we do not collect or store your payment card details.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Data retention
We retain tournament and account information for as long as needed to provide the service and to keep historical tournament pages available, and as required for legal, security, and operational purposes. We may delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can stop new data collection by ceasing to use the bot or leaving the server. To request access or deletion of your information, contact us at the address below; we may need to verify your identity and your connection to the relevant Discord account or tournament.
8. Children’s privacy
The service is not directed to children. You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement (at least 13, or older where required by your country) to use the bot. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone below the required age.
9. International users
We operate the service from, and store data with providers located in, various regions. By using the service you understand your information may be processed in countries other than your own.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
