Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Paidia tournament bot for Discord and the website at paidiagaming.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Paidia Gaming ("Paidia," "we," "us"). By adding the bot, running or joining a tournament, or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Paidia provides a Discord bot that creates and manages tournaments — including registration, roles, check-in, brackets, and score reporting — and publishes public tournament pages on the website. Features may change, and we may add, modify, or remove functionality at any time.

You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement (at least 13, or older where required by your country) and comply with the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when using the Service.

The bot operates within Discord and relies on Discord accounts, servers, permissions, and roles. You are responsible for your Discord account and for the permissions you grant the bot in your server. We are not responsible for Discord outages or for changes Discord makes to its platform.

Creating a tournament — setup and collecting registrations — is free, and running small tournaments (up to 8 players) is free. Running a larger tournament (up to 64 players) or using advanced features is unlocked with a one-time Tournament Token (which unlocks a single tournament) or a Paidia Bot Pro subscription (which unlocks unlimited tournaments).

• Tournament Tokens are non-refundable. Redeeming a token unlocks a tournament but does not start it; redeem only when you are confident you will run the event.
• With Paidia Bot Pro, you can unlock unlimited tournaments for the duration of the subscription.

Paid features are billed through our payment or platform providers. Subscriptions renew according to the terms shown at purchase until cancelled. Except where required by law or stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable. Taxes may apply.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, infringing, harassing, hateful, or fraudulent activity;
• Cheat, rig results, manipulate brackets or scores, or interfere with fair play;
• Abuse, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• Upload content you do not have the right to use.

You retain ownership of the content you provide (such as tournament names, descriptions, rules, and banners). You grant Paidia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Service, including on public tournament pages. You are responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring you have the rights to it.

The Service, including the bot, website, software, and Paidia branding, is owned by Paidia or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or software except the limited right to use the Service as intended.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Tournament outcomes and the conduct of organizers and participants are their responsibility, not ours.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paidia will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $50.

You agree to indemnify and hold Paidia harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your content, your tournaments, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, including for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
