Rules

Team & Match Requirements
Team Size: Exactly five (5) players are required. Matches cannot proceed with fewer.
Substitutes: Up to two substitutes may be registered; substitutions can often be made between games in a Best-of-3 (Bo3) or Best-of-5 (Bo5) series.
Platforms: Usually PC (Ubisoft Connect), Xbox, or PlayStation, often with cross-play enabled for community cups.
Check-in: Teams must check in, typically 30 minutes before the start time.
2. Match Settings (Esports Preset)
Game Mode: Bomb.
Round System: First to 7 rounds (first team to win 7 rounds).
Overtime: Rules typically require a 2-round difference to win, or a 6-6 score triggers overtime, often resulting in first to 8 rounds.
Map Pool: A set of 9 curated maps (e.g., Bank, Chalet, Clubhouse, Consulate, Kafe, Nighthaven, Oregon, Skyscraper, Villa).
Ban Phase: Operators and Maps are banned before the match begins (typically 2 bans per team initially, with more during the match).
Role Swap: Sides swap after 6 rounds.
3. Technical Rules
Server Region: Usually Default to EU West or NA Central, depending on the tournament region.
Ping Limit: Maximum allowed ping is often 130 ms or 110 ms. If a player exceeds this, a rehost can be called.
Rehost/Pause: Generally allowed for technical issues (disconnects, crashes) within the first 15 seconds of the prep phase.
Software: Third-party software impacting connectivity (VPNs) is prohibited.
Match Media: All match media (screenshots, MOSS files, match replays) must be kept for at least 7 days.
4. Player Conduct & Cheating
Fair Play: Unsportsmanlike behavior, including spamming, insulting, or trolling, is punishable.
Cheating: Use of hacks (wallhacks, aimbots), macros, or unauthorized graphical changes is strictly forbidden and results in permanent bans.
Mouse and Keyboard (Console): Use of illegal input devices on consoles is prohibited.
5. Siege Cup Specifics (In-Game Tournament)
Structure: A 3-match maximum tournament (single elimination bracket).
Ranked Integration: Players are grouped by skill tier (S, A, B, C, D).
Rewards: Competitive coins are awarded even for losses.
6. Common Restrictions
Operator Bans: Certain operators may be banned from play due to game-breaking bugs or balancing issues.
Cosmetics: Only default skins, Pro League skins, or tournament-approved cosmetics are sometimes allowed.
